Camping Out
I wanted to do something to resemble 'tents' set up around a campfire.
Materials:  I used worsted weight yarn in two colours.  Both pictures do not show the colours accurately.  Picture on the left I used white and  a beautiful variegated yarn by Canadiana in white, country blue, country pink and light jade.  On the right, I used white and a blue variegated yarn of unknown origin.  Size G hook (4.5mm) gave me a 7" square.

With colour A, ch 5, join.
1.  Ch 1, 16 sc in ring, join to 1st sc.
2.  Ch 1, 2 sc in same st.  *sc in next, 2 sc in next around.  Join.
3.  Ch 2.  Holding last loop on hook, dc in next 2 sts.  Yo,    draw through 3 loops.  (beg cluster).  *Ch 3, sk 1 st, 3 dc in next.  Ch 3, sk 1 cluster (holding last loop on hook, dc in next 3 stitches,  yo, draw through 4 loops) in next.  Repeat from * around.  Join, FO col A.
4.  Join col B with sl st in any ch 3.  * Work 3 tr in skipped st in round 3, ch 1,   hdc in top of next cluster/centre of 3 dc, ch 1.  Repeat from * around, end with hdc in top/centre,    ch 1, join.  FO col B.
5.  Join col A in 1st tr of any 3 tr.  ch 3, hold last loop on hook, wk tr in ea of next 2 tr.  Yo, pull through 3 loops.  *ch 1, 3 tr in next hdc, ch 1, wk tr   cluster (holding  last loop on hook, tr in ea of next 3 sts, yo, pull through 4 loops).  Repeat from * around.  Join to top of beg cluster.  FO colour A.
6.  Join col B to top of any cluster.  Ch 1, sc in same space.  *In next ch space wk (sc, tr in ch space of RND 5, sc) Sc in next 3 tr (sc, tr in space of rnd below, sc) in next ch1 space.  Sc in top of cluster.  Repeat from * around.  Join, FO col B.
7.  Join col A with ss in top of any tr.  Ch 3, 4 dc in same space.  Work side (2 dc, 4 hdc, 7 sc, 4 hdc, 2dc) across to next corner. * 5 dc in tr for corner.  Work side.  Repeat from * 2 more times.  Join, FO col A, weave in ends.
