scraps of worsted weight yarn (I used green for the base)
crochet hook size 4.25mm
App. size: 3"
Note: to sc 2sts tog: draw up loop in each of next two sts. YO, draw through all loops.
To start:
With bulb colour, ch9. Hdc in 3rd ch from hook. Dc in 2 sts, hdc in 2, sc in next, 3sc in end ch. Working down opposite side of starting ch: Sc in next, hdc in 2 sts, dc in 2, hdc in last 2, turn.
Row 2: Ch1, sc in 1st st, 2hdc in next, 3dc in next, hdc in 1 st, sc 2sts tog, sc in next 2 sts, 3sc in next. Sc in 2 sts, sc 2sts tog, hdc in 1 st, 3dc in next, 2hdc in next, sc in last. Join to first sc of row 2, FO.
With right side facing, join green in 2nd hdc. Sc in 4 sts, turn.
Rows 2&3: Sc across, FO at end of row 3.
