| I do have a group at Yahoo Groups for updates. Please note, all new members are moderated to begin with. Yahoo's spam protection is not 100% effective, as I've learned from experience. So, to prevent members from receiving offers for debt consolidation, porn, dating or any other crap no one wants to hear about, I just like to make sure a new member is legit. So, I'm one of those swimmers that carefully tests the waters, putting first a toe, then a foot...into the water rather than just jumping right on in. Likewise with Etsy, I've been selling my patterns there for a couple of years now, and this year started a second store for my completed items. The forums for the longest time have been a scary place, a jungle of questions, comments, opinions (and sometimes very blunt opinions), but after a couple of years, I started reading them more. And more. Street Teams likewise seemed a little frightening. But finally, after checking out Etsy Hookers a time or two or ten...I joined in. What a fun thing! Especially the Challenge. The current one, to create something using 5 of the 7 colours of the rainbow. Rainbow=happiness=hugging a doll. And so Felicia (above) was born. She is currently available as a finished doll here, pattern is on my 'New Stuff' page. New Stuff. How original. Also check out: a Microphone Caddy, Lion and Pig Fridgies, and a tasty layer cake with chocolate frosting 'tin'. I'm looking forward to trying a carrot cake one next... Items sold there are made from my own designs, or using others' designs with their permission to sell the finished item.
