To sum things up, I'm not sure this site will remain here. Unless
the workaround with Yahoo's sitebuilder will finally work
properly on my computer (rather than me having to uninstall,
reinstall, troubleshoot compatibility, edit, close down,
restart...and wow! it doesn't WORK a second time) I will have to
find someplace that's a little easier to deal with.
I did try Yahoo's Site Solutions, but for the appearance and
ease...I'm better off just sticking with my blog. I mean, the Site
Solutions pages LOOK like blog pages, not business pages, I
cannot easily widen the main part of the page, cannot easily add
bits of html for buttons (was just deleted from my webrings
because of this), cannot easily change *parts* of the background.
But I can with Blogger.
Until then, I will be here, and continue to offer my patterns also
on Etsy.
I'm now a little more active socially--online anyway! I have a
twitter account, and a facebook fanpage where I post updates as
well as odds and ends that cross my mind. As long as they pass
slowly enough for me to catch them!
What am I working on now? After a pretty long dry spell, I've
had ideas pushing their way into my head, including a doily for a
friend's new bakery, and some water bottle cozies/coasters for
parties. How often have you thrown a kid's party, the kids all
have pop cans or water bottles, and no one can tell whose is
whose? So I came up with the kid-friendly version of the wine
glass charm. Which is not a charm...and isn't for wine.
