Materials:
worsted weight yarn, bits of yellow, gold and brown
2 googly eyes (about 1cm in size)
brown pony bead
bit of brown embroidery floss
magnetic strip
crochet hook size F (3.75mm)
Do not join rounds, place bit of yarn or stitch marker at beginning of each round.
To start:
With yellow, ch2. 6sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Rnd 2: 2sc in each st around. (12)
Rnd 3: (sc in 1 st, 2sc in next) around. (18)
Rnd 4: (sc in 2 sts, 2sc in next) around. (24)
Rnd 5: (sc in 3 sts, 2sc in next) around. (30) FO.
With gold:
Join with sc in any st. (ch3, sk 1 st, sc in next) around, ending with ch3, sl st in 1st sc to join.
With brown: Join with sc in front of chs in any unworked st of rnd 5. *ch4, drop loop, insert hook through next ch3 sp front to back, pull through dropped loop, sc in skipped st. Repeat from * around. End with ch4, drop loop, insert hook front to back through beg sc, draw loop through, FO.
To finish: Glue eyes to front where desired. Attach bead at centre with glue or by sewing. With embroidery floss, make sts for mouth as in pic or as desired. Glue magnetic strip to back.
