Materials:
baby yarn in assorted colours.
crochet hook size E 3.5mm
36" length of 3/8" wide ribbon, choice of colour
Notes: Rnds are joined.
Always start rounds of sc with ch1, does NOT count as first st. Sc in same st to begin.
Start rounds of dc with ch3, counts as first st.
With A, Ch31. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across to last ch. 3sc in last ch. Sc along opposite side of starting ch. 2sc in same st as beg sc.
Rnd 2: 2sc in 1st st. Sc in 28, 2sc in each of next 3 sts, sc in 28, 2 sc in each of last 2 sts. (68)
Rnd 3: Dc in each blp around.
Rnd 4: Dc around.
Rnd 5: *(dc, ch1) in 1 st, sk next st. Repeat from * around. FO col A.
Rnd 6: Join next colour in any dc at side. (Sc in dc, dc around ch1 into skipped st of rnd 4) around.
Rnd 7&8: Dc around.
Rnd 9: *(dc, ch1) in 1 st, sk next st. Repeat from * around. FO.
Rnds 10-25: Repeat rounds 6-9 4 more times, changing colour at end of each 4th round.
Rnd 26: Work 1 rnd of sc in each ch sp and dc around.
To finish, weave in all ends. Cut 36" long piece of 3/8" wide ribbon. Thread through spaces of rnd 25. Tie ends together.
