Materials:
small amount of worsted weight yarn in heart colour
crochet hooks size G=4.25mm and E=3.5mm
small amount of size 10 (bedspread weight) cotton in 2 colours

App. size:  3 1/2" tall

Notes: Always start rows of dc with ch 3, counts as first st.
Always start rows of sc with ch1, does NOT count as first st.  Sc in same st to begin.
To dc 2 sts tog: leaving last loop of each st on hook, dc in 2 sts, yo, draw through all
loops.
To sc 2 sts tog: draw up loop in each of 2 sts, yo, draw through all loops.

With larger hook and worsted weight, start with ch3.  Join with sl st to form ring.
Row 1: Ch3, 3dc in ring, turn. (4dc)
Rows 2-4: 2dc in first st, dc to last, 2dc in last st.  (10dc)
Row 5: Dc in first 3 sts, dc next 2 tog, turn.  (4)
Row 6: (sc 2sts tog) twice.  FO.

Join yarn in first st of row 4.  Dc in 3 sts, dc 2 sts tog, turn.  Decrease will be in last
unworked st of row 4, and same st as dec. of first hump of heart.
Repeat row 6.  FO.

With smaller hook and 2 strands of size 10 cotton held together, join with sl st in
bottom point.  Sc evenly around.
Rnd 2: (sc, ch3) in each st.  Stop 2sts away from top "V" corner of heart.  Ch3, sk 2
sts, sl st in centre st.  Ch3, sk 2 sts, (sc, ch3) in each remaining st, join.  FO.

Weave in all ends, glue magnetic strip to back.
