When starting rounds of dc, start with a ch3, counts as first st. Diamond ornament: Ch4, join with sl st in first ch to form ring. Rnd 1: Ch4. (Dc, ch1) 7 times in ring. Join to 3rd ch of ch4. (8dc) Rnd 2: *(dc, ch1, dc) in 1 st. Ch2. (2tr, ch3, 2tr) in next dc. Ch2. Repeat from * around. Join to top of first dc. Rnd 3: Sc in first st. Ch2, sc in next dc. *ch2, sc in next tr, ch2 (3dc, ch4, sl st in 4th ch from hook, 3dc) in ch3 sp. Ch2, sk 1st tr, sc in next. (Ch2, sc in dc) twice. Repeat from * around. Join to first sc. FO. Snowman ornament: Ch21. Sc in 11th ch from hook. Ch5, sk 4 chs, sc in next ch. Ch5, sl st in last ch. (3 ‘rings’) Rnd 1: Ch4. (Dc, ch1) 5 times in ring. (Dc, ch2, sl st) in same ring.
